As a student in the School of Design and Community Development, you’ll learn to embrace how people live, learn and work. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills necessary to empower communities and individuals to use their resources efficiently, imagine and design sustainable spaces, and become a dynamic and flexible working professional. 

As a school, we’re focused on multiple scales of design, community engagement, agricultural education, outreach and extension. Our programs include agricultural and extension education, design studies, environmental and community planningfashion, dress and merchandising, interior architecture and landscape architecture.
